The Internet is furious about this year’s ‘Walking Dead’ finale !!!!!

Jeffery Dean Morgan finally comes out to portray the super villain – and the guy isn’t that evil. In fact, I totally see where he’s coming from in some ways. He’s like a more extreme version of Rick: He wants to survive and has the means to do it. And he wants everyone to work for him, including the Alexandria crew. It was bound to happen: The Walking Dead’s season 6 came to an end, and what an ending that was. Yes, there’s a huge cliffhanger for season 7, and we’ll have to wait until fall to find out how it resolves. But more importantly, we can’t help but wonder how our favorite gang of zombie-killing heroes will survive Negan, the baseball-bat toting bad guy who finally made an appearance this week. Oh, and AMC could have totally gone with a different cliffhanger, because the one it came up with has infuriated huge swathes of the Internet.

Beware, Walking Dead fans, there are spoilers ahead, so avoid the rest of the post if you haven’t seen episode 16 yet.

From the get-go, we’ll tell you that someone dies in this episode but we aren’t sure who just yet. It’s probably neither Rick nor Carl, given what Negan tells them at the end. But there are plenty of candidates left. Glenn, Maggie, Daryl, Michonne, Abraham, Sasha, Eugene, Rosita, and Aaron are all on their knees, captured by a huge gang of Survivors, listening to Negan preaching about the new world order.

However, because Rick and Co. did kill so many Survivors in past episodes, Negan is really keen on setting an example. And he does end up killing one person with his bat, which he has affectionately named Lucille.

After toying with our feelings mid-season by faking Glenn’s death, AMC decided to reuse that recipe for the finale. This time around, it’s clear that someone will die. We hear Lucille at work in the background as the episode ends. But we won’t know who that person is until season 7. Needless to say, fans didn’t appreciate this outcome. It’s crystal clear to anyone who has seen last night’s episode that the real cliffhanger is surviving Negan. It really doesn’t matter who dies. As much as we want to know that, we’re more excited to see how Rick and Co. will deal with Negan and his crew.

Speaking of the Survivors, their power has finally come to light. They outnumber and outgun the people in Alexandria, and they could easily take the fortified city. It’s just that Negan has put in motion a complex trap to make sure that the Alexandria crew will work for him, and give him a 50% discount off everything they make.

The entire Last Day on Earth episode is practically a cat-and-mouse game in which some of the Alexandrians mentioned above are constantly being cut off. Roadblocks are set in place in a complex trap meant to corner the prey. Eventually, the group that set out to take Maggie to the doctor is caught, and reunited with Daryl, Michonne, Glenn, and Rosita. Oh yes, Daryl is very much alive, not that we were expecting him to be dead.

The ending is pretty puzzling for one simple reason. It’s night in the forest, we’ve got a huge group of loud people, plenty of lights from the cars, and plenty of noise – Negan’s speech can be heard by everyone. So where on earth are the zombies when you need them?

Conspicuously absent in the to-die list above are Carol and Morgan, but they’re off on their own adventure. Carol is still struggling to accept that she needs to kill people to stay alive. Will Carol save Rick and gang again in season 7? We can’t wait to see what happens next. However, the Internet is definitely not happy with the way AMC ended this episode.

In the comics, it’s Glenn that gets killed by Negan. The way Negan killed his victim in episode 16 is pretty consistent with how Glenn dies in the comics but that doesn’t mean that’s how it will play out in the show.

Original Artist of The Walking Dead Tony Moore Returns for #150 Variant Cover.

It's indisputable that reaching issue 150 is a huge achievement in comics,” series writer Robert Kirkman said in a press release. “Charlie Adlard and Team Walking Dead have been working tirelessly for over a decade to get us to this milestone and now it's time to celebrate. It's an honor to have comic book pals Jason Latour and Ryan Ottley bringing their vision to these iconic characters. Additionally, words cannot describe how excited I am to have Tony Moore, artist of the first 6 issues, returning to provide a cover for this special event.”

Moore’s variant cover mirrors his cover to The Walking Dead #1, showing how many people Rick has lost and just how much he has changed both physically and emotionally.

Moore drew the first six issues, the first 24 covers, and the first four trade covers for The Walking Dead comic before leaving the series. In 2012, Moore had a legal dispute with Kirkman over The Walking Dead, which was settled on mutually beneficial terms.

Norman Reedus Bitten By Rabid Fan Not Pressing Charges !!!!

A female fan bit "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus on his chest at a zombie convention this weekend ... but the biter is now off the hook according to law enforcement sources.

Cops tell TMZ, Reedus -- who wasn't hurt during the attack -- declined to press charges against the biter since it was only a nibble.

A rep for New Jersey's Walker Stalker Con says event security was standing a couple feet from Reedus when the fan opened her mouth and tried to take a chunk out of his chest.

Cops and event security jumped into action and booted the biter from the convention. The rep says the woman has been banned from all future Walker Stalker conventions and other sponsored events where Norman is present.

Reedus didn't seek any medical attention -- the bite didn't break the skin -- and he was able to continue the meet and greet.

JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN WILL PUSH AMC FOR A COMICS-ACCURATE NEGAN ON "THE WALKING DEAD !!!!!

JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN WILL PUSH AMC FOR A COMICS-ACCURATE NEGAN ON "THE WALKING DEAD !!!!!

Now that word is out about his role as Negan on "The Walking Dead," Jeffrey Dean Morgan is making it clear that he wants his portrayal of the character to be as close to the comics as he can make it -- even if that means testing AMC's boundaries."The character itself is going to be as close as humanly possible," he told Entertainment Weekly.New "Walking Dead" Clip Declares: Negan Is ComingAs to AMC's strict rules of about the use of profanity, he said, "Look, it's a speed bump. I'm not going to say it's an issue because they're working on it. We're going to push AMC -- the plan is to push them as far as they can because it's who Negan is. He uses some colorful language. And I use some colorful language. And reading the comic, it's important. So we'll see where that lands. It's our intention that this character is going to leap off the pages of the comic book. It's very important that that’s who it is. Some of the characters there's much more leeway, but Negan is a guy that you want to keep as true as possible, and that would be how I want to play him as well."He also revealed he had seen Lucille -- the bat with which Negan murders Glenn in the comics. "She is gorgeous," he shared. "She is a beautiful girl."Additionally, he opened up about his love for the comics and how he ultimately landed the role: "So a couple of years ago people started saying, 'Hey, man, you should be Negan in "The Walking Dead."' So I started reading the comic books just because I'm a fan and I love what [Robert] Kirkman is doing and so I was very aware of Negan and had read quite a bit of the comic books. So my agent and manager were on the phone and said, '"The Walking Dead" have offered you this thing,' but they didn't have any information. They didn't know the character’s name. It was all a big secret."RELATED: "Walking Dead" Showrunner Teases "Quite Deadly" Midseason Premiere"And they sort of got halfway through the sentence saying 'We don't know the character's name, he’s the new big bad…' and I knew immediately who they were talking about," he continued. "They just got halfway through and I knew immediately who it was. It was no question. I was like, 'Absolutely. We're going to f—ing do it!' And that was it. And literally a week later I was in Atlanta talking with the cast and hanging out."Based on the Image Comics series of the same name and created byRobert Kirkman, "The Walking Dead" will return Sunday, February 14 at 9 pm EST on AMC.

'The Walking Dead' Finds Its Perfect Negan In Jeffrey Dean Morgan !!!!

'The Walking Dead' Finds Its Perfect Negan In Jeffrey Dean Morgan !!!!

With the release of Fallout 4 yesterday, my head was a bit scrambled so I missed this enormous piece of news from the world’s other biggest post-apocalyptic franchise, The Walking Dead. Far and away the character most TWD comic fans have been waiting to see cast is the villainous Negan, and AMC has finally found their man in veteran actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

For those who wish to know nothing at all about Negan’s character or storyline at all, turn back now, but no crazy spoilers follow.

In the comic, Negan is a villain so brutal, he makes The Governor look about as threatening as Eugene. He’s the leader of the Saviors, an absolutely massive gang that has essentially a protection/raiding racket running through all the major colonies in the area (Alexandria isn’t the only one).

He’s responsible for arguably the most horrifying major character death of the entire series, but I won’t describe that here. Suffice to say he’s someone to be feared, and his appearance will mean The Walking Dead is heading into its darkest era yet.

Needless to say, casting the part was really, really important to get right. Negan is physically foreboding, weirdly charming and a total psychopath. A few actors have had their names passed around for the part, the most popular of which were Henry Rollins (who really does look the part to a tee) and Mad Men’s Jon Hamm (who expressed he’d be open to the idea).

Instead, we have Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who has starred in everything from Supernatural to The Good Wife to his most Negan-ish role, The Comedian, in Zack Snyder’s Watchmen movie (just don’t mix him up with his Hollywood doppelganger, Javier Bardem).

The Walking Dead: How Glenn Died In The Comics!!!!

GLennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn !!!!!
Spoilers ahead for The Walking Dead's comic series and "Thank You" (6x03) episode of the TV series.
If you haven't watched....
Stop now.....
Still here? Continue, we shall.

In tonight's shocking episode of The Walking Dead, it looks like we lost a mainstay character who has been around since season one: Glenn Rhee. I say, "looks like," because I don't believe he's dead but that's not why we're here. We're here to talk about how he died in the comics.
The comics lead us all to believe Glenn would be in trouble this season, with the arrival of Negan rumored to be coming late in the second half. In issue #100, Negan made his debut and lined up Rick, Carl, Michonne, Heath, Glenn, and Maggie on their knees in front of him.
After a rant justifying why he can't make a decision on who to kill, he played "eenie meenie miney moe," to select a victim, and landed on Glenn.
After his selection was made, Negan choked up on Lucille, his barbed wire wrapped baseball bat, and swung away on Glenn's head. Glenn's battered head murmured some last words, crying out for his pregnant wife, Maggie.
Negan and the Saviors have been expected and anticipated on the show but there's no confirmation on when they'll appear. If Glenn is, in fact, dead, who is Negan going to hit a home run on?
