The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to enter a new world (both figuratively and literally), as Marvel Studios partners with Netflix to launch a darker, grittier, more adult-themed series in Daredevil. With all episodes of season 1 just hours away from premiering (at the time of writing this), it’s time to for one last big marketing push to show fans and general audiences why this Marvel project is worth investing in.
You can view clips from the show (centering on both character and action) below, followed by an explanation of how Daredevil connects to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - and finally, Daredevil’s full-fledged red costume has been revealed.
Where and when the red costume will appear in the series remains to be seen: we already know that Matt Murdock starts out with the black ninja sweat suit seen in Frank Miller’s The Man Without Fear miniseries. The suit will evolve over the course of the series, eventually ending with the red suit. As always, a motion poster or still image is one thing – but the real measure of the costume’s quality will be seeing it in motion onscreen.
Marvel’s Daredevil premieres all of season 1 on Netflix on Friday April 10th.
